Paige Weber is a senior mass communication major at Louisiana State University. She graduates in December 2014, and her degree will include a concentration in public relations and a minor in business administration.
Weber has lived in Louisiana her whole life, but she loves venturing out, learning different cultures and seeing new places. As the 2014–2015 vice president of Chapter development, she looks forward to learning from Chapters and helping them grow.
Weber joined PRSSA at LSU in 2011 and became the public relations director the following year. She was then elected to the Chapter president position and Regional Conference director. Weber, along with a team of ten members, put on LSU’s second-ever regional conference, Hollywood Under the Oaks. Her Chapter was awarded the LSU Love Purple, Live Gold Outstanding Collaborative Program Award for its diversity program efforts.
Weber loves cooking, traveling, puppies, being with friends and watching Netflix in her free time. She has background working at agencies and was the copy editor for LSU’s student-run newspaper. One day, she hopes to work in a big city for a public relations agency or benefit corporation.
