Adam Aisner, 2011–2012 National President, is in his final semester at Hawaii Pacific University. At HPU, Aisner is pursuing a bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations. He will graduate in fall of 2011 and will then continue his education at the master's level.
As a PRSSA member, Aisner has held several positions for the HPU Chapter ,including secretary and president. Aisner served as the 2010-2011 national vice president of advocacy. Throughout this past year, Aisner has found a strong passion and dedication to the study of ethics as an integral part of the public relations profession.
As a public relations major at HPU, Aisner has found his passion in advocating for causes that are of great importance to him and the people around him. Upon graduation, in addition to attending graduate school, Aisner would like to pursue a job in advocacy public relations that allows him to spread his passion for causes to the people in his community.
Aisner spent the past year interning for Life Foundation, a non-profit organization promoting HIV awareness and education to the public, specifically Hawaii's LGBT community. He currently works for Caffeine Addict Cafe, a local coffee shop, as their PR/marketing and events coordinator.
In his spare time, Aisner sings and studies the art of vocal performance.
