PRSSA Affiliate Program

Would you like to join PRSSA even though your school does not have a PRSSA Chapter?

The PRSSA Affiliate program was designed for students like you. This program is available to university and college students enrolled at schools without PRSSA Chapters. Membership lasts one year.

• Twelve issues of PR Tactics, PRSA’s award-winning monthly newspaper
• Three issues of FORUM, PRSSA’s national newspaper
• Two detailed handbooks on public relations education: Student Guide and Port of Entry
• A complete listing of where to study public relations
• Access to JobCenter, PRSSA’s databank of internships
• The Biweekly Update and other e-mail announcements from PRSSA

Requirements

• Submit the PRSSA Affiliate Program Application.
• Submit PRSSA Affiliate dues of $82.
• Attend a college or university without a PRSSA Chapter.

Background
PRSSA Affiliate membership started as a one-year pilot program in 2006 to provide learning, networking and career development opportunities to students who attend colleges or universities without a PRSSA Chapter. Benefits were expanded in 2007 to include the PRSSA Biweekly Update, a discounted registration for PRSSA events and an invitation to attend the PRSSA National Assembly.
