Strengthen Your Chapter

PRSSA relies upon dedicated Chapter members, leaders and advisers to create the best possible experience for all PRSSA members. To help you with this vital task, PRSSA has put together a collection of tools, information and networks.

Tools for Chapter Leaders and Advisers

Running a Chapter is a big job, but PRSSA is here to help. You can access handbooks and guides on a variety of topics, attend leadership training sessions at National Conference or Assembly, share ideas and questions with other leaders and Advisers, or contact your PRSA sponsor Chapter. The National Committee and Headquarters are always available for questions as well.

Planning for Events and Meetings

Events and meetings are a great way to unify your Chapter, provide learning opportunities and attract potential members. PRSSA offers three national events each year, including a three-day training for Chapter Presidents. You can also bid to host a Regional Activity.

PRSSA also offers tools to help your Chapter plan events and meetings, such as the PRSA Member Directory and PRSA webinars. Need fundraising ideas? See the Fundraising Bowl Playbook.

Chapter Achievements

When your Chapter excels, you deserve recognition. Write a press release about your achievement and post it on the PRSSA website or pitch the story to the FORUM® editor in chief. You can earn financial aid in addition to prestige by applying for a Chapter award.
