Fundraising

Expand Your Opportunities

Fundraising is a great way to benefit your Chapter or another organization. Through fundraising, you can send members to Regional Conferences and National events, bring speakers to your school, purchase access to PRSA webinars and support causes. Fundraisers give you valuable event planning and advocacy experience, all while enhancing your Chapter’s legacy and uniting members behind a common goal.

Fundraising Ideas

Look through the FUNdraising Playbook (PDF) or search Chapter News to find out how other Chapters have raised funds. Start a conversation about fundraising with other PRSSA members on Facebook or Twitter. If you’re a Chapter President, hop on the listserv and ask other presidents what they’ve done to raise funds for their Chapters.

National FUNdraising Bowl

The National FUNdraising Bowl is an annual campaign that encourages Chapters to share fundraising ideas while competing for a grand prize of two free Conference registrations.

Between Feb. 1 and May 31, submit your Chapter’s fundraiser to the contest by filling out the FUNdraising Contest Entry Form (Word or PDF). You can submit one fundraiser each month, and entry forms must be submitted before midnight on the last day of each month. One winner is selected each month by random drawing, and those schools are entered into the final drawing, May 31, for the grand prize.
