What are Chapter Development Sessions?
Chapter Development Sessions are creative and interactive information sessions presented by PRSSA Chapters. Any Chapter that would like an opportunity to show peers its best practices in fundraising, recruiting, retention, etc. is encouraged to apply.
When will Chapter Development Sessions take place?
Chapter Development Sessions will take place at the 2006 National Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Four sessions will be held on Friday, November 10.
How many Chapters will be selected to present a Chapter Development Session?
Eight Chapters will be selected as presenters and two Chapters will be selected as alternates.
How many students from my Chapter can present the Chapter Development Session?
Up to five students can present the Chapter Development Session.
How long are Chapter Development Sessions?
The Chapter Development Sessions are one-hour in duration however, your portion will be 20-25 minutes long.
May I contact the National Committee for help?
A National Committee member will be assigned as a contact for your school. The National Committee member will be available as a resource to answer any questions you may have and offer suggestions to make your presentation the best it can be.
When is the deadline to submit my application?
The deadline is Friday May 19, 2006.
When will I find out if I am selected to present?
Applicants will be notified by phone no later than Monday June 19, 2006.
Will there be any time to rehearse in Salt Lake City?
Yes! Contact your National Committee Member to set up a time for rehearsals in Salt Lake City.
