Debbie Darling
Industry Specialist for Humanities, Social Sciences & Government
California State University, Fullerton

Debbie Darling is the Industry Specialist in the Humanities and Social Sciences at CSUF’s Career Center. Debbie has spent 12 years in higher education in student services. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and behavioral science and master’s degree in business administration she has a diverse educational background that uniquely allows her to assist and prepare students for the job market.


Laura Neal
Industry Specialist for Arts, Entertainment & Communication
California State University, Fullerton

Laura Neal is the Industry Specialist for Arts, Entertainment & Communications at California State University, Fullerton’s Career Center.  She joined the CSUF Career Center in 2001, after a successful career in feature film and television Visual Effects. Over the course of her career, Laura had worked her way up from a receptionist position to becoming a Visual Effects Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering.  Credits also include Visual Effects Coordinator on “The Abyss”, which won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.  Neal now applies her 14 years of practical experience to her current work with students, where she provides career counseling and advisement as well as presentations, workshops and career development programs. In addition to working full time at Cal State Fullerton, where she met her husband to whom she married in 2007, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Communications.
