Marshall Bryan Blaise
- 2006-2007 Vice President of Regional Activities
Bryan Blaise joins the National Committee from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Fla. He graduated in Dec. 2006 as USF's Outstanding Senior and a 4.0 scholar with a mass communications major and concentration in public relations. He now works in the corporate practice of Fleishman-Hillard in Chicago.
Bryan’s public relations education was enhanced through his experiences within PRSSA and the communities of Central and Southern Florida. At the local level, he served his Chapter as newsletter editor in chief, vice president of member services and a national delegate. His academic success and involvement with PRSA Tampa Bay earned him both of the sponsoring Chapter’s scholarships. He also provided freelance public relations services to nonprofit clients in Orlando, Tampa and Naples, Fla.
Bryan interned in the Office of the President as a special events communications coordinator, planning event collateral. From coordinating USF’s lobbying day in Tallahassee to hosting James Earl Jones at the university’s largest art donor event, the position offered countless learning and networking opportunities. Before graduating, Bryan interned for Shriners International Headquarters and Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute simultaneously. There he worked closely with media and top management on branding initiatives.
Aside from a growing obsession with public relations, Bryan enjoys traveling, seeing and singing Broadway musicals, reading anything and shopping everywhere. Also a classically-trained ballet and jazz dancer, he continues to choreograph and perform professionally.
