Jessica Randazza

  • 2006-2007 Vice President of Chapter Development

Jessica Randazza, PRSSA 2006-2007 vice president of chapter development, is a senior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a Public Relations major and a marketing minor.

Jessica became active in public relations as a freshman working for the University of Alabama's Women's Resource Center. She continued to work for the WRC through her sophomore year before taking an internship at Walt Disney World Resort in January 2004.

After her internships, Jessica began an active role with UAB's PRSSA Chapter and as account executive for their student-run firm, Creative Relations. She worked on such accounts as Birmingham Power, Birmingham's professional women's basketball team and United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham.

In the beginning of Jessica's senior year she served as president of UAB's PRSSA Chapter. She attended the 2005 National Assembly in Dallas before working on the National Subcommittee for Diversity and Advocacy. She currently works at Conzelman and Associates, Inc., an advertising specialties firm in Birmingham.

In Jessica's spare time she likes the Red Sox, dancing, friends, family, karaoke, camp, diet coke, sushi, facebook, running, reading, Johnny Depp movies, amusement parks, good conversations, music, traveling, holidays, writing, yoga and international culture.

Did you know that:

  • FORUM was born in 1968 when two seniors at Utica College submitted bids for an exclusive publication and named it FORUM

  • In 1982, the PRSSA Assembly became a spring event separate from the National Conference.

  • Betsy Plank and Jon Riffel founded Friends of PRSSA (now renamed as Champions for PRSSA) in 1981.
