Dear 2008-2009 Chapter President,

Congratulations for obtaining the distinguished role of Chapter President! Thank you for your commitment to leadership and our Society. I personally invite you to attend the first annual PRSSA Leadership Rally in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona June 8-9, 2008.

The Leadership Rally offers you the opportunity to attend workshops designed to improve leadership skills along with informational sessions about PRSSA member benefits. You will attend breakout sessions titled “Leading and Managing Your Board”, “Professional Development” and “PRSSA Member Benefits”. In addition, plan to spend time with Chapter Presidents who manage Chapters the same size as yours to learn, share and brainstorm best practices, and network with others facing the same challenges and opportunities.

There is no registration fee to attend. PRSSA will cover hotel room and tax for all attendees in quad accommodations.

Our theme for the Leadership Rally, “Leadership and Inspiration: Management and Execution” will serve us well, as together; we explore approaches to effective leadership and share best practices. All of this will facilitate your creation of a successful and rewarding term in office.

We appreciate you taking time from your pre-professional and personal lives to attend our first annual PRSSA Leadership Rally. We consider this one of PRSSA’s very important initiatives to assist our Chapter leaders to thrive and succeed.
