This award, established in 2004, will honor a PRSSA member who has achieved outstanding success in their academic studies of public relations and an excellent understanding of ethical conduct in the profession. He spent most of his career working in the New York Metropolitan area for various public relations agencies and corporations. When he retired, he was principal of his own firm. He also is a founding member of the Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. An Army combat veteran, he holds bachelor degrees in journalism and psychology from Syracuse University.
