2008 PRSSA Bateman Case Study Competition

Timeline

  • Friday, August 24 – Case Study, Q&A, Judging Criteria and Intent-to-Enter form mailed to PRSSA Chapters.

  • Monday, October 22 - Display at the 2007 Career Development Exhibition during the PRSSA National Conference in Philadelphia, PA.

  • Monday, November 5 - Deadline for receipt of Intent-to-Enter Form and entry fee to PRSSA Headquarters, 33 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10038-5150.

  • Monday, November 12 - Acknowledgement letter mailed to participating Chapters. *Please note; if your team does not receive a letter by Friday, November 19, contact PRSSA Headquarters at (212) 460-1476.

  • February 1-29 - Month to implement special events such as awareness campaigns. Any special events taking place as a result of your campaign implementation must occur between February 1 though 29. Failure to comply with this timeframe will result in disqualification.

  • Friday, March 28 – Deadline for receipt of entries at PRSSA headquarters (four copies of your entry must be received).

  • Saturday, April 12 & Sunday, April 13 – Judges to select three finalists.

  • Monday, April 14 - The three finalist teams are notified by PRSSA. Results are posted to the PRSSA Web site and e-mailed to each participating team’s contact person.

  • Friday, April 18 – Score sheets are mailed to each team’s contact person.

  • May 1 - 4 – Each of the finalist teams give their campaign presentations to a group of judges from Safe Kids Worldwide® (SKW) and PRSA in Detroit. Airfare hotel for each finalist team and advisor will be covered. 1st 2nd and 3rd place teams will be notified.

  • Monday, October 27, 2008 – Winning teams receive special recognition at the PRSSA 2008 National Conferences in Detroit, MI.
