Cross Country Connection Program
Program Overview
The Cross Country Connection Program (CCC) was initiated by the 2001-02 PRSSA National Committee in order to foster a better student-professional relationship among PRSSA members and PRSA members, specifically those who belong to Champions for PRSSA.
CCC pairs a chapter with a Champion who is in another state, ideally a state across the country. This unique facet of the CCC Program, allows students to make valuable connections in another area of the country, while giving the Champion an opportunity to communicate with PR students with which they might not otherwise come into contact.
This program aims to involve Champions in the lives of PRSSA members, to create a better awareness of Champions for PRSSA among students, and to have Champions serve as an additional resource for PRSSA members.
Champions for PRSSA
Champions for PRSSA is an organization of PRSA members devoted to the continued public relations knowledge and growth of PRSSA members. They aid the student society by donating to PRSSA scholarships and awards programs and now by playing an active role in a new mentoring program, the Cross Country Connection.
Joining the Cross Country Connection Program
As of spring 2002, fourteen chapters have been paired with Champions.
