This internship will not be offered this year.

Award: 12-week Internship

The winner is offered a twelve-week internship, paying $10 per hour for 20 hours per week, at PRSA/PRSSA Headquarters in Manhattan. The winner is responsible for his or her transportation, housing and living expenses.

Eligibility

To apply for this internship program you should be PRSSA member in good standing and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Juniors and seniors with concentrations in public relations, communications, journalism or marketing related fields are preferred.

Application

You need to submit the following materials to apply for this program:

• A completed application form (Word or PDF).
• A résumé.
• A letter of recommendation.
• A 1,000 to 1,200 word essay describing why you want to pursue a career in public relations.

Make sure all materials are error free and thoroughly proofread. All application materials must be received at PRSSA Headquarters (not just postmarked) by due date. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
