National Gold Key

The National Gold Key honors the outstanding public relations student and leader. Winners are those who excel in their academic study of public relations, have pursued ambitious professional development opportunities and are leaders in their PRSSA Chapter.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

• Have been a PRSSA member for at least two years.
• Be a senior or graduate student. (Seniors may apply up to one year after graduation.)
• Have a GPA of at least 3.4 in your major.
• Have held a PRSSA leadership position at the Chapter or National level.
• Have completed at least one public relations internship, approved by your Faculty or Professional Adviser.
• Affirm your intention to become a PRSA Associate Member within one year of graduating.

Application

You need to submit the following materials to apply for this award:

• A completed application form (Word or PDF).
• A copy of your undergraduate transcript and, if applicable, your graduate transcript.

Make sure all materials are error free and thoroughly proofread. All application materials must be received at PRSSA Headquarters (not just postmarked) by June 8, 2012. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
