2012 Contiki Vacations Campaign

Register online Feb. 21-March 5

Contiki Vacations

Contiki Vacations is a leading tour operator for college students and others in their 18-35s with 200 itineraries to more than 40 countries, including tours in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America, Canada, Mexico and, most recently, South America.

For this competition, teams will be challenged to build awareness among college students who are interested in, or planning to, travel abroad for Contiki Vacations by implementing a public relations campaign on campus. Through a unique showcase of creativity, teams will encourage students to talk about traveling abroad and consider Contiki Vacations when making their summer travel plans.

Teams may have no less than three and no more than four members. All team members must be current PRSSA members (having paid dues in either fall 2011 or to pay in spring 2012) enrolled in the same school. Chapters may have more than one team participate, but these teams cannot work together on the campaign.

Please review the campaign brief for more information.

“I firmly believe the Bateman Competition is the best experience a student studying public relations can take part in. Different than a campaign class, you actually have to execute your plan; and different than an internship, where you may only be assisting on a few PR components of a project or a campaign, you are seeing the process through, start to finish, and you are making the decisions.”
