Scholarship Spotlight
PRSA Multicultural Affairs Scholarship Program

This scholarship program was established in 1989 by PRSA's Multicultural Affairs Committee, to assist and recognize young men and women for outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the practice of public relations. Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded next spring. The scholarship application, which is open to African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native American, Alaskan Native or Pacific Islander ancestry, must be received at PRSA Headquarters no later than April 15th.

National Conference Preview

2005 PRSSA National Conference - Miami Beach, Florida - Fontainbleau Hilton October 21-25, 2005

The 2005 National Conference Committee is proud to announce that our Web site: www.prssa.org/conference/2005 will be live on March 7, 2005. Please visit the site to learn more about the committee and what they have planned for the 2005 Conference so far.

Remember that Conference Coordinator, Kara Czerniak and Communications Director, Susan Medina will be present at the 2005 National Assembly in Dallas. You may use this opportunity to learn more about the Conference and Miami through their trivia game, so come prepared.

The Committee is already working on contacting and booking speakers for the Conference, as well as finalizing a keynote speaker that may be announced at Assembly. A variety of professionals in different public relations fields will help create a more diverse Conference.
