Best Practice Showcase: The University of Northern Iowa

The University of Northern Iowa's student-run firm, PRide conducts workshops each semester to help its members gain a concrete understanding how a public relations firm operates. Workshops focus on aspects such as special events, fundraising, promotional materials and web design and are led by local professionals who specialize in these areas. The workshops have benefited members by providing them with real-life scenarios, hands-on experience and by allowing them to network with public relations professionals.

*Share your Chapter's best practices by posting on the Best Practices Forum or by e-mailing Vice President of Member Services Kimberly Gouz. One Chapter will be recognized in each Biweekly e-mail for demonstrating and sharing its innovative and creative ideas with the Society.
